Visualizing Palestine

For folks like me, who don’t diligently follow and research the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the media can be confusing.  Today I stumbled upon a website called visualizing Palestine that has some excellent info-graphics that brings a little more clarity to the situation.  Here’s one example, on the question of “who started it”, which figures large in American discussions on the issue.  It’s pretty clear, looking at the data, that far more Palestinians have been killed by Israeli first-strikes than the other way around.  And yet, if you only watched U.S. media, you would get a different picture.
